Anyone who use internet must be aware about Gmail which is one of the most widely used email platform and is one of best email services.
Most people uses two email accounts, one for personal and one for official purposes. However most of the times it is difficult to manage or access two different accounts.
Gmail has a solution for this (infact most of the email services has this feature available), Automatice Forwarding of emails to another account.
Yes, it is possible for you to forward select emails or all of them to a different account once they arrive in the particular Gmail account.
To setup this feature you have to open Gmail in your browser. You can also use browser on your mobile but you have to enable the desktop view mode.
First log into the gmail account whose email you want to forward to another account.
Enable Forwarding All Emails
In the top right, click Settings gear icon.
Click on Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
Under the "Forwarding" section, click Add a forwarding address.
Enter the email address where you want the messages to get forwarded automatically.
Click 'Next' and 'Proceed' to complete the process. Do remember to check if you want to keep the copy of email in Gmail or not.
Once done, a verification message will be sent to that email address.
Go back to the Gmail account Setting page and refresh it.
Click on Forward a copy of incoming mail to.
Click 'Save Changes' at the end of the page.
To disable the particular feature, go to the "Forwarding" section, click Disable forwarding. Click 'Save Changes' at the end of the page.
Forward Certain Emails Only
If you want to forward certain kinds of emails, got to Setting and then Filters.
Mention your condition and in the next step add the email address to which you want to forward.
Please note that in all conditions, those emails arriving in the 'Spam' folder won't get forwarded.
